Tenerife Nightlife

Tenerife has something to offer all age groups, whether your preference is for a lively evening at one of several clubs, bars and discos, or maybe try your luck at the casino! Perhaps take in one of the fantastic shows, many starring international artists.

Tenerife's nightlife is rich and varied. Sadly the island has gained something of a "lager loutish" reputation thanks to the antics of certain holidaymakers on the club strip of Playa de las Americas. However, don't be fooled as the nightlife in Tenerife is as rich and diverse as the island itself and you'll also find traditional fiestas, broadway type shows, cosmopolitan wine bars and great family entertainment venues.

The Sound of Musicals

The West End & Broadway comes to Tenerife, with a musical feast of all your favourite hits from stage and screen from around the world.

Your adventure starts with 42nd Street at the end of arduous auditions to find a new leading lady, before the Sound of Musicals worldwide starts in Paris, the home of The Phantom of the Opera and the infamous Moulin Rouge.

The journey continues across the Atlantic in Chicago with Roxie Hart, Billy Flynn and ‘All That Jazz’, before heading for the bright lights, glitz and glamour of Las Vegas and the showgirls of the Copacabana, and a show stopping finale to Dirty Dancing!
Other stops along the way see the inclusion of shows such as Evita, Riverdance, Joseph, Les Miserables, and of course the Sound of Music.

Medieval adventure

Take a step back in time as you enter the castle of San Miguel in Tenerife. Cross the drawbridge and you will be ushered by the king and his loyal knights to your seat in the grand medieval arena. A spellbinding display of horsemanship and heroic acts by the medieval knights will keep you riveted to your seat.

Enjoy a scrumptious dinner with a free flow of wine whilst watching horseback tournaments and medieval games.

A fabulous display of acts of bravery by the knights, lavish medieval style dinner and melodies of a grand orchestra will make your evening in Tenerife truly special.

Rock Story at Exit Palace

This show is a tribute to the famous groups AbbA, Pink Floyd and Queen, with musicians, acrobats, dancers, actors and singers. Rock Story is held at the luxurious Exit Palace in San Eugenio, the doors open at 21.00 and the show starts at 21.30.
Every guest will be served a glass of champagne, or a half bottle for those in the VIP zone.

The show is held on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday night and added extras include an amazing dance troupe, a high ribbon trapeze artist and four spectacular tumblers.
Couple this with great live music, lasers, special effects and a completely refurbished huge venue and you have a show which will take your breath away.

Casino Las Americas

The Playa de Las Americas Casino is located in the basement of the Hotel Gran Tinerfe in one of the best areas of Southern Tenerife. The Casino offers fun in a glamourous setting, and the professional staff will guide and accompany you on the games tables. Try your hand at the Roulette, Blackjack, Poker and Craps tables, or if you prefer more solitary investing, hit the dozens of slot machines chiming their merry tunes.

Don't forget to take a passport, or you won't get in. And dress smart - Shorts and vests just won't cut it, though smart jeans will.

El Faro Chill Art Lounge

Faro Chill Art is a unique cocktail & lounge on a par with the best clubs in the world. Located in a spectacular spot, between Puerto Colón and Fañabé beach, its design is in the shape of a boat at berth that is ready to set sail.

The ideal place for holding events in an original setting, elegant and privileged, as it offers the possibility of having dinner on the terraces beneath the stars and continuing the party at the discotheque inside.
Faro Chill Art has an efficient and creative team of professionals as well as some of the best restauranteurs from the island's gastronomic scene.

The Club has capacity for around 2000 people and Saturday nights are great for dancing, with some of the best DJs playing their music.  Comedy, magic shows of the highest level, master classes with the best musicians; all these take place there regularly. Their aim is to support art in all its forms, no matter what. El Faro is THE place to be!

Tibu Nightclub

The savvy socialites in Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje head to TIBU, Tenerife’s most sophisticated nightclub.  Amidst the concrete and neon of the island’s ‘something for everyone’ nightlife, TIBU occupies the top spot on the Tenerife nightlife scene.

The cosmo-set from Tenerife’s five star hotels and luxury villas swish through the garish lights of Playa de las Americas to alight on TIBU’s red carpet.  This is the place to go if you want to rub shoulders with Premiership footballers, Russian playboys and Page Three models.

The Patch

The patch offers complete family entertainment in a multi level commercial centre that is crammed with restaurants, bars and shops. Here you will find all your cabaret and karaoke bars and family entertainment taking you through until about 3am. Most bars here are children friendly and many will also serve food during the day and into the evening. There are numerous live music bars here with a singer or  a band, as well as the typical draq queen cabaret shows that have become so popular with the British tourists. There are a smattering of dedicated restaurants here for a more formal meal, as well as some good take aways if you want to eat on the move. The area surrounding the Patch has recently been pedestrianised so is perfectly safe for all ages.

Playa de las Americas is the place to head for if you want a big concentration of pubs and all-night clubs. Some say it's pure hell others think they've died and gone to heaven!

Veronica's is the hottest spot in town - a big complex of bars and night clubs where you can party from dusk till dawn. The place is chock-a-block with clubs, most of which don't start buzzing until 1am.

Next to Veronicas is Starco. Both areas are very close to each other making jumping from bar to bar quick and easy. There are no entrance fees to any bar or club in this area and most don't have a dress code, although bare chests are strictly forbidden. Bars are generally open until 4am with nightclubs open until around 6. The epicentre of the Starco Centre is Tramps Nightclub who host regular event nights with top named DJs gracing the decks throughout the summer.

Puerto Colon

Puerto Colón is part of Playa de Las Americas, although the atmosphere of this marina is drastically different than that of the busy nightlife and constant buzz of central Las Americas. Puerto Colón is for those who enjoy the finer things in life, and with a wide choice of chilled out and relaxing bars to choose from (many with a sea view), Puerto Colón Tenerife is all set to be the islands next most popular resort.

San Eugenio

San Eugenio consists of three sq km of Irish pubs, Elvis lookalikes and cabaret acts of hugely varying quality. Many have live football, most have entertainment and all have cheap drinks. Bars here are children friendly, and most serve food up until the cabaret begins.
