Tenerife's nightlife is rich and varied. Sadly the island has gained something of a "lager loutish" reputation thanks to the antics of certain holidaymakers on the club strip of Playa de las Americas. However, don't be fooled as the nightlife in Tenerife is as rich and diverse as the island itself and you'll also find traditional fiestas, broadway type shows, cosmopolitan wine bars and great family entertainment venues.
